Emily Cannon

Chief Investment Officer

Ms. Cannon is the Chief Investment Officer for Dogwood Industrial, based in Atlanta, GA. Prior to joining Dogwood in 2019, Ms. Cannon worked within the Capital Deployment group as a Vice President Investment Office for Prologis (NYSE: PLD), a global leader in logistics real estate with approximately 775 MSF in 19 countries. Prior to joining Prologis, Emily was an Associate at Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) within Development and Asset Strategy Capital Markets Group, where she oversaw a national land portfolio disposition program for the largest US institutional land owner. Emily received a Bachelor of Arts from Davidson College.

David Sibley

Manager, Acquisitions

Mr. Sibley is Manager of Acquisitions for Dogwood Industrial, based in Dallas, TX, focused on industrial acquisitions in the Southwest. Prior to joining Dogwood in 2020, David was Vice President of Acquisitions for Colony Industrial, which was acquired by Blackstone in 2019. Prior to his role with Colony Industrial, David was an Associate in the finance group at Cobalt Capital Partners, which was acquired by Colony in 2014. Over the course of his career, David has been involved in over $9 billion of industrial transactions across more than 25 markets within the United States. David received a B.B.A. in Finance from The University of Mississippi.

Nick Jones

Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Jones is the Chief Operating Officer for Dogwood Industrial Properties, based in Charlotte, NC. In this role he is responsible for all aspects of asset level operations with oversight responsibilities for leasing, property management, and property level capital expenditure functions. Nick was most recently Vice President of Asset Management at EastGroup Properties, where he held a broad a portfolio of responsibilities including asset management, acquisitions, and development throughout the Southeast. Mr. Jones earned a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and an M.B.A. from Rollins College.

Chris Williams

Vice President, Acquisitions

Mr. Williams is the Vice President of Northeast Acquisitions for Dogwood Industrial Properties. Prior to joining the team, Chris was a Senior Associate at STAG Industrial (NYSE: STAG). In his time at STAG, Chris was a member of the acquisitions platform as it saw the growth of the portfolio from 15 million SF to over 100 million SF in under 10 years. Chris sourced and directed more than $400 million of transactions in 10 different markets across the United States. Chris received his BSBA in Business Economics from the University of Richmond Robins School of Business.

Diego Almaral

Senior Associate, Acquisitions

Mr. Almaral serves as a Senior Acquisitions Associate for Dogwood Industrial Properties.

Previously, Diego was an associate at Strategic Office Partners, where he focused on acquisitions and asset management for TPG’s office strategy. Prior to Strategic, Diego served as an Investment Analyst at Gramercy Property Trust (Link Industrial), where he focused on acquisitions for a joint venture with TPG Real Estate.

He holds an M.S. in Engineering Management and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Cornell University with a graduate minor in Real Estate Finance from The Baker Program at Cornell University.

Jack Little

Senior Associate, Acquisitions

Mr. Little is a Senior Acquisitions Associate for Dogwood Industrial Properties. In this role, he is responsible for deal sourcing, financial underwriting, and transaction management. Prior to joining Dogwood in January of 2020, Jack was a Senior Financial Analyst for JLL’s Industrial Capital Markets team in Charlotte, NC where he evaluated over $5 Billion of commercial real estate assets.

Mr. Little graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.A. degree in Economics.

James Thompson

Senior Asset Manager

Mr. Thompson is a Senior Asset Manager for Dogwood Industrial Properties, based in Charlotte, NC.  James has coverage over all properties in the Dogwood portfolio and is focused on property operations including asset management, leasing and budgeting, directing property management and accounting teams, executing capital and tenant improvement projects, and assisting with acquisitions due diligence. Prior to joining Dogwood, James was Senior Property Manager for EastGroup Properties responsible for the Charlotte, Greenville and Atlanta markets. Mr. Thompson earned his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati and has also earned his Certified Property Manager (CPM®) designation.

James Kyger

Asset Manager

Mr. Kyger is an Asset Manager for Dogwood Industrial Properties, based in Charlotte, NC. James directly oversees the asset management duties for Dogwood’s Greensboro portfolio, and supports asset management functions for the rest of the portfolio. Additionally, James is responsible for financial underwriting, leasing evaluation, and performance reporting. Prior to joining Dogwood in October 2019, James was a Senior Financial Analyst at Cushman & Wakefield’s Office/Industrial Capital Markets team where he served as the lead analyst for over $700 million of closed investment sales transactions.

Mr. Kyger graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.A. degree in Economics and Political Science.

Shannon Bass

Analyst, Acquisitions

Ms. Bass is an Acquisitions Analyst for Dogwood Industrial Properties and based in Dallas, TX. In this role, she is responsible for financial underwriting and transaction management. Prior to joining Dogwood in September of 2022, Shannon was a Financial Analyst for Asset Living’s business development team in Houston, TX where she evaluated 300+ multifamily assets in all the major SW markets. Prior to Asset Living, she was a Financial Analyst at CIBC Wealth Management in Houston, TX where she was responsible for financial reporting for $1.2B AUM. Ms. Bass received B.B.A in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin.

Matthew Brooks

Analyst, Acquisitions

Mr. Brooks serves as a member of the northeast acquisitions team for Dogwood Industrial Properties.

Previously, Matthew was a member of the acquisitions team at Rhino Capital, where he focused on underwriting, transaction management, asset management, and dispositions for Rhino’s industrial & multifamily strategies.

He holds an M.S. in Finance & Management and a B.S. in Finance from Bentley University.

Ty Newell

Partner, TPG Real Estate

Mr. Newell is a Managing Director at TPG Real Estate. Prior to the formation of Dogwood Industrial Properties, Mr. Newell served on the Board of Directors for Evergreen Industrial Properties, a ~16MM SF Light Industrial Platform founded by TPG Real Estate.

Prior to joining TPG Real Estate in 2012, Mr. Newell worked as an Analyst in both the Investment Banking and Private Equity Investing arms of Morgan Stanley Real Estate and as a Finance Analyst for Developers Diversified Realty, a publicly traded REIT. Mr. Newell received his B.A. degree in Economics with a certificate in Markets and Management studies from Duke University.

Bharat Nagaswami

Principal, TPG Real Estate

Mr. Nagaswami is a Vice President at TPG Real Estate. Prior to joining TPG in 2017, Mr. Nagaswami worked at Lazard in the real estate investment banking group focusing on mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Nagaswami also previously interned for Linneman Associates and is the Assistant Editor of Dr. Peter Linneman’s textbook, Real Estate Finance and Investments v3.1.

Mr. Nagaswami graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.S.E. in Systems Science and Engineering.

Jeremy Herman

Associate, TPG Real Estate

Mr. Herman is an Associate at TPG Real Estate.

Prior to joining TPG in 2021, Mr. Herman worked at Brookfield on their Mergers & Acquisitions team, focusing on acquisitions of public REITs, large portfolios, and non-traditional asset classes.

Mr. Herman graduated from The Wharton School with a B.Sc. in Economics, concentrating in Finance and Statistics.

Jonathan Le

Analyst, TPG Real Estate

Mr. Le joined TPG Real Estate as an Analyst in 2023. Mr. Le graduated from Cornell University with a B.Sc. in Hotel Administration with a minor in Real Estate.
